Roaming

Street is a unique site where people pass by. It links home and office, situates between buildings. Besides the street streetlamp stands and illuminates the forward road. In such a hustle and bustle city, people keep roaming under the streetlamp and try to close their destination. Usually we feel a “real” person goes by while streetlamp is simply a material device along the sidewalk. Most of the time, we remember the ones who we go with and it is likely a proof of true relation between people. It is likely in our life “human” is the leading role, and other materials, like the streetlamp, is supportive to this stage. However, people is contemporarily temporary even if there are many people roaming through there. Many people are left with shadows only. Through my photos, streetlamp is the long-lasting role on the street. Probably no one can really accompanies with us in this life, but the streetlamp can.
